The Psychopath (1966)

Paramount Pictures
Directed by Freddie Francis
My rating: 2.5 stars out of 4
IMDb
(Turner Classic Movies)

Bodies are turning up in London, each found with a doll made to look like the victim. A police inspector has plenty of suspects: a dysfunctional father-daughter relationship and her secret fiance, a group of musicians who seem to make up most of the victims and a strange old lady who lives alone with her doll collection. Robert Bloch, the author of Psycho, rehashes his mama's boy theme, completely taking the mystery out of this otherwise good Amicus production.
