The Sailor from Gibraltar (1967)

Lopert Pictures
Directed by Tony Richardson
My rating 2.5 stars out of 4

Ian Bannen grows tired of his girlfriend while vacationing in Florence. He leaves with Jeanne Moreau on her yacht, and ends up sailing the Mediterranean in search of a former boyfriend who may or may not exist. The symbolism doesn't really work, the characters are for the most part unlikable and there is a ridiculous aside with Orson Welles.
