A young princess of the "Fire Kingdom" falls in love with the young prince of the "Sea Kingdom". Their respective cultures fear each other and their romance is forbidden, but they continue to meet in secret. His kingdom is attacked by jellyfish, while she must fulfill her destiny to become queen during an upcoming solar eclipse. However, they cannot bear to break up, imperiling both of their kingdoms. A friendly, wise turtle tells them about a star where fire and water can live together in harmony, and they embark on a perilous journey to get there. Long, confusing story combining The Little Mermaid story with Romeo & Juliet, and throwing in some Christian mythology as well. The end result doesn't always make sense, but it is entertaining with colorful animation.
