The life and career of Amy Winehouse, her unlikely rise from a working class family to jazz vocalist phenomenon. Fame and fortune take their toll, however, especially on a naive girl with little in the way of self restraint. Soon she falls victim to drugs and alcohol, spiraling into just another rock and roll cliche. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
