Belated retrospective of the influential late 70s/early 80s "punk" band Minutemen from southern California. Fans will love the interviews and the live performances, and since I am a fan and was lucky enough to see them play live, I loved it. Non-fans may scratch their heads about how such quirky, funky, scratchy music could be considered "punk", or even revolutionary, but at the time there had been nothing like it. Mike Watt continues to be refreshingly humble.
