The early days of the famous revolutionary who leaves Mexico to fight in the jungles of Cuba with Fidel Castro. They easily defeat the Cuban army in the mountainous terrain but find it more difficult when the fighting moves to the city. Some background is given by flashbacks to Guevara's speech to the UN a few years earlier, but it is not enough to navigate through the thick soup of a large cast and monotonous plot. As a result, plays more like something you are forced to sit through for a college history class.
