A man returning home from a business trip discovers his wife is missing from their apartment. His search for her leads to an upstairs apartment occupied by a strange woman. A police detective arrives the next day but isn't much help. There is no resolution to speak of. What it lacks in plot this stylish French thriller makes up for in a dazzling visual style that borrows heavily from Italian giallo films of the 1970s. The soundtrack consists of music directly from those films. Entertaining but not very original.
