Broadway producer discovers Alice Faye and James Dunn in small Georgia town and transports them to the big city lights to star in his latest production. They are a big hit, but when Dunn falls in love with a showgirl the problems begin. It's almost wall-to-wall music and singing, with some elaborate, overproduced production numbers that range from average to just plain awful. The highlight is a tap dancing routine by Eleanor Powell.
