Sinatra and Kelly are baseball players on a team taken over by new owner Esther Williams. Sinatra falls in love with her because she can play baseball, Kelly resents her butting into the team. By the end of the movie the sentiments are reversed. The songs are good and the Technicolor eye popping, but the plot is tired and the characters mostly stereotypes. Kelly's constant mugging for the camera and his skirt chasing character are an embarrassment.
