Poor Franka Potente, the heroine from Run Lola Run, gets locked inside the London subway system when she falls asleep waiting for the last train. Unfortunately, she is not alone. A human monster, apparently the victim of surgical experiments near the subway system, stalks the homeless, rats and unlucky train conductors, then sets his sights on Franka. She ends up in a cage with another victim deep inside the London sewer system. Franka is smart, but also empathizes with her captor, which gives her a good chance of escaping. The film makes good use of the empty London subway setting and has an energetic sound mix. I particularly liked the music by The Insects, though it is only used a couple of times.
