Fifteen year old Mia lives with her single mother and younger sister in a dilapidated London apartment. She escapes her drab existence through break dancing in empty apartments. Her mom's new boyfriend, Michael Fassbender, at first is supportive and appears to be a positive role model, but he seduces her one drunken night. She follows him home and discovers he is actually married with kids. She impulsively kidnaps his young daughter but after some tense moments decides to bring her home unharmed. Bleak, unflinching film is brilliantly acted, particularly by newcomer Katie Jarvis and Fassbender, but is difficult viewing.
