A struggling actress shows up hours late for an audition in a run-down Paris theater. The play's author is the only person remaining, and she convinces him to let her try out for the part. He realizes she is perfect, perhaps a little too perfect, and as they begin to perform the play things take an ominous tone. She knows facts about his personal life, his motivations for certain parts of the play, even seems to know what he is thinking. By the end of the performance she has complete control of him. It's well-acted, but more suited for the stage than the screen, coming off here as more of a gimmick.
