Lloyd Bridges lives a dual life, one in his dreams and the other is real, though he can't really tell which is which. In one life, he is a respected scientist who makes a breakthrough discovery involving DNA research. In the other, he is hunted down by a group of men calling themselves "the tribunal", who try him for some vague crime against humanity related to his DNA findings. His flustered wife is Janet Leigh, who also appears in both lives.
