Teenagers are being raped and murdered in the shortcut path through the woods on their way home from school. A 16-year-old Lesley-Anne Down is the first victim, who becomes mute after her attack, but finds a way to scream when confronted with her attacker at the end of the movie. Pretty Suzy Kendall is the helpful art teacher. A fairly straightforward mystery, almost a British giallo complete with black gloves, but lacks the style of the better Italian films and has a loud, brassy soundtrack that ruins the mood.
