Deepwater (2005)

Deepwater LLC
Directed by  David S. Marfield
My rating: 1.5 stars out of 4
(DVD, Monarch Home Video)

A hitchhiker steals a car after a bar fight and then rescues a stranger after a highway accident. The grateful stranger offers him a job as handyman at his hotel. He falls in love with the man's wife and they plan to steal his cash and run away together. The only problem is he may or may not be involved in murder at the local casino. They plan to settle their differences in a boxing match, but the other man backs out. The enraged hitchhiker tries to runaway with his wife, but she claims not to remember any of their plans or their affair. It all gets explained away with schizophrenia. A weak film with a preposterous ending, poor acting and obnoxious soundtrack.
