Handsome Spanish lady killer César is pursued by a former girlfriend. She follows him one night to a party, where he meets and falls in love with his best friend's date. The former girlfriend is waiting for him when he leaves her apartment the next morning where she tries to murder him by crashing the car. He survives but his face is disfigured. He cannot adjust to the way people now stare at him and starts wearing a prosthetic face mask. He gets falling down drunk and awakes to a new reality: his face is miraculously repaired by surgeons and he marries the new girl he met at the party. However, all may not be as it appears. Incredibly entertaining and complex thriller which unfolds with one unexpected plot twist after another.
