Scientists working on a "serum" derived from cats in the West Indies deal with a series of murders which take place in and around their labs. The fact that the victims are "clawed" to death throws suspicion on their young secretary who walks in her sleep and has a cat phobia. She occasionally sees a giant cat claw going after her in the dark. The explanation is a twist on Jekyll and Hyde. Campy nonsense wit occasionally moody black and white photography by George Robinson, who worked on some of the classic Universal horrors.
