Jimmy Stewart is a shy assistant professor of botany who falls in love with amorous nightclub singer Ginger Rogers. They get married on their first date and take a train to his home town to tell the folks... and his fiance. You have to pay attention, but there is plenty of sexual tension on display as their "honeymoon" is thwarted at every opportunity. It's not quite up to the standard of the classic screwball comedies, more like a situational comedy, and Ginger is too old for the role, but it is still an amusing diversion.
