Marlene Dietrich narrates this interesting account of the rise of Adolf Hitler in Germany. He is compared to the medieval character of Reynard, a fox who manages to deceive his opponents in pursuit of his own agenda. Numerous drawings and paintings are used, including some by Picasso, to illustrate this analogy. Also shown are historical photos and footage of Hitler's earliest days until his defeat at the end of WWII. The narration is concise and well organized, not an easy task given the complexity of the story. One of the earliest, and best, documentaries on Hitler.
