A housekeeper for a retired, wealthy woman living in the gloomy British moors relocates her two eccentric sisters when they are thrown out of their London house. When a "few days" turns into months and the wealthy woman demands they leave, the housekeeper murders her, hides the body and assumes ownership of the house. Nobody misses her until an old relative comes calling and begins to suspect things are not as they seem. Mis-titled film is actually quite a good thriller that would make Hitchcock take notice, except for the anticlimactic ending.
