Loretta Young falls in love with magician David Niven after one of his performances. They get married and she becomes his on-stage assistant. When he starts jumping out of airplanes handcuffed as a publicity stunt she becomes concerned about the state of their marriage. She secretly has a home built in the country, but when he refuses to settle down she divorces him. Years later they meet again at one of his nightclub performances. Will they rekindle their romance? Will you care?
