Typical "training school" plot where new recruits are taught how to fly for the military, some making it and others washing out. Veronica Lake is a sultry nightclub singer that gains the attention of a young William Holden one weekend. Unfortunately the plot takes a steep turn into melodrama when Lake pretends to be pregnant, gets married to the wrong guy and claims to be wanted for murder. A trial sorts it all out at the end, but you probably won't care. The miniature model work is quite impressive for the time.
