Roger Moore and Clint Walker are gold prospectors pursued across the spectacular scenery of the desert southwest by bandits. Moore and Walker are an odd pair, Moore in particular is unconvincing as the Irish cowboy. They meet up with alcoholic doctor Chill Wills, who steals every scene. They take a long detour to a Mexican ranch where Chill delivers a baby while Roger and Clint flirt with a pretty Mexican girl. The resolution is weak and anticlimactic.
