The son of the original Robin Hood gets the old Sherwood Forest gang together again, this time to fight King John who is unfairly overtaxing the poor. He gets help from the lovely Lady Marianne, who sends him messages by carrier pigeon from the King's castle. The usual assortment of sword fights, jousting, merry making and a little romance round-out this typical, if colorful, escapist entertainment.
